Questions, feedback, or a correction to something we've written? We read what comes in and we're glad to hear from readers.

The best way to reach us is by email:

hello@myoldnumber.com

We especially welcome corrections. If something on the site is out of date or you think we've gotten a detail wrong, tell us what and where, and we'll look into it.

Please read this before you write about a specific number. We are an independent information site, not a phone carrier. We cannot look up who owns a number, restore a number you've lost, stop calls to your line, reassign a number, or access any account. We have no ability to act on any individual phone number — full stop.

If your question is about your own number or account

For anything account-specific — porting, restoring a disconnected line, a number that was reassigned, or unwanted calls to your phone — the only people who can actually help are your own carrier. Contact their customer support directly. For unlawful robocalls or debt-collection problems, consumer-protection agencies such as the U.S. FTC (and, for collections, the CFPB) accept complaints. We can point you toward understanding the issue, but we can't intervene on your behalf.

For general questions about how number recycling, porting, and reassignment work, though, email away — that's exactly what this site is here for.
